I saw Erika and James and took them for a health assessment on Friday. They are both a little out of shape and are both carrying a little too much weight, but apart from that thier health is OK.

Today is the first day of my seven week motivational monday on Gold Radio and it's time to get Erika and James into shape.

They will be following PCTV over the next few weeks as well as getting regular doses of me.

London Marathon

It’s was the London marathon on Sunday and I was listening to the commentary on the radio. Did you know that the first one was 100 years ago and was run in London? Did you also know that the finishing time was around 2 hours 50 minutes. Last year at the London marathon, over 500 hundred people beat that time. It’s interesting how records get broken and people manage to do things that some people said where not possible. With a will to achieve and a desire to succeed anything is possible!

So can you break your own records and achieve what you want? Can you become slimmer, fitter and healthier? Can you break the habits that have held you back in the past? Of course you can, but always remember that you might need to be patient and you might make a few mistakes along the way. Stay positive, be happy and enjoy the journey.

The Happiness Equation

In 2004, I defined a 'formula' for Happiness for the Holiday company Thomson. Our research that led to the scientific equation reveals that a person's happiness is determined by three key factors:

  • Personal characteristics (including outlook on life, adaptability and resilience)

  • Existence Needs (including health, financial stability and community / friendships)

  • Higher Order Needs (beyond basic existence i.e. self esteem, expectations, ambitions, sense of humour):

This was hugely successful and resulted in the equally successful Happiness Campaign. I had requests to present the formula from 26 countries around the world including Brazil and Canada and Korea!

Vitality Show 27th to the 30th of March



It's coming to the end of the month and this is always a great time of year because the great Vitality Show at London's Olympia is on from the Thursday the 27th till Sunday the 30th.

The show is the largest health and beauty show in the UK and there are hundreds of things to do and see. One of the main attractions is me! (ha ha). We have a stand there and I am giving talks every day. 

It's a great day out with some super shopping, loads of free stuff, things to try and many experts giving presentations to motivate and inspire you.

We would love to see you, so come on down and lets have some fun.
