The Greatest Weight Loss Tips Ever
What is the Greatest Weight Loss Tip Ever?
Watch this short clip to see mine and feel free to let us know what yours is.
Members Weight Loss Tips
I have been sharing my weight loss tip, tools and advice with people for over 20 years and much of this has come from the people who are on my weight loss programme - petecohen.tv. I want to share some of these with you to inspire and motivate you.
These tips are from one of our many bloggers called Biscuit.
Concentrate on one day at a time - be in the here and now. Worrying about the future is overwhelming and counter-productive. Despairing about the past is even more pointless!
Give your old "fat clothes" away to the charity shop. Pack up clothes that are too big for you, never store them "in case I need them one day".
Clear your house of temptation. Give the chocolates away to your work colleagues / friends; even bin them.
If you have a partner / kids that make 3a) impossible, then get some boxes and assign everyone an individual treat box with their special food. Fill yours with delicious treats (popcorn kernels, dried fruit, nuts, seeds, and EXCELLENT quality chocolate if that's your thing).
It's not a waste to throw food away if you don't want to eat it. It's a waste to eat it if you don't want it! Throw it away today, shop and cook smarter tomorrow.
If you've never done it before, keep a food diary for two weeks. Be honest. It's a real eye-opener.
Greet your hunger with delight. When you feel hunger pangs, it's time to make yourself something delicious to eat, and look after yourself.
Make sure you're drinking enough water, and don't forget to take it out with you.
And don't forget a care pack - take a little snack everywhere with you (I like to have oatcakes and dried apricots tucked in my handbag)
JUST DO SOMETHING! Walking for even 5 minutes is better than not walking at all.
Live your life TODAY. Whether that's joining a choir, taking pride in your appearance or applying for a new job: Don't put things off until you lose the weight, start living now.

Who is the Weight Loss Guru?
I have been helping people get slimmer, fitter and healthier for over 20 years now and over the last few years I have become known as "The Weight Loss Guru" and this is why I started this free blog site.
This site is full of free inspirational information to support and motivate you as you move forward and achieve your goals. There are plenty of articles and videos as well as some excellent pod-casts with some of the leading Health and Fitness Professionals in the world.
What is a GURU?
A guru is a teacher, someone who leads a disciple to wisdom and self-realization. The word is formed by the syllables gu and ru. Gu indicates darkness, and ru indicates destruction. Thus, when translated directly, guru means ‘dispeller of darkness.’ GU and RU indicate the juxtaposition of light and dark, where ignorance is dark, and knowledge - particularly spiritual knowledge - is light.
My mission as the Weight Loss Guru is to liberate and free people from the constant battle of trying to lose weight and being on a merry-go-round of dieting. I want to inspire, support, encourage and motivate people to break habits and enjoy their lives.
My approach is about helping people with the following;
1. Belief in themselves
2. Being open to change
3. Conquering their fears
4. Showing them how to break bad habits
5. Giving them support and structure
6. How to feel good about what you are doing
7. Taking personal responsibility
8. Understanding exercise
9. Breaking down their journey into manageable chunks
10. Staying positive and motivated
