PCTV NEWS WEEK 3

It's the petechen.tv news on Sunday the 7th of February.

In the news this week I discuss one of the most important factors and fundamentals in losing weight. It's all to do with how you great, excited and motivated you feel about what you are doing.

Please watch the film below and make any comments you have about what you hear.

Comments :
kasid's Gravatar Great news... I love watching your tv... and for the first time I'm not presurring myself to lose weight.I'm enjoying the tools and I use my jar everytime I do something right. I'm doing things right more often and I think you must be a mind reader, because everytime I think now what, you're there ready with your little gems. Thanks Pete

Lyn's Gravatar Love these news clips Pete. The only time in the last 20 years that I remember getting really excited about something I had to pass on was when my lovely daughter told me she was pregnant with our first grandchild. So not really something I had done. But I am feeling rather pleased with the way I am going on your weight loss plan and something is obviously working as several people have told me how good and well I look (and it is early days yet!). Consequently I have been telling folk now about your inspirational weight loss programme.

I am in total agreement, enjoying the journey is soooo important and congratulating oneself for every baby step in the right direction is soooo important too.
Yes we have hiccups along the way, but the goal is like a shining beacon that will not be extinguished and once we are awakened we cannot put it down!
We are priveleged to have your support Pete - you are an essential cog in this journey and when we have those moments of uncertainity you always pop up and say just the right sort of things to give us a lift and boost in the right direction.
Thanks so much!

Earthmother x

StellaStar's Gravatar You always make me smile Pete. It's your enthusiasm and you remind
me that it is worth to feel enthusiastic about myself. Since Thursday I have 'dropped the ball', the heavy cold had got a hold of me and I over ate. Understandably I didn't do my normal exercise too. However, I'm bouncing back, I intend to have kicked the cold to the curb by tomorrow. :o)

About being excited about something, one example I remember is how I was evangelical about my baby's reusable nappies! I thought they were the best thing since, well disposable nappies. Funny isn't it.

SALLY's Gravatar I just want to share - Its just a HUGE privelege to be part of the process Pete. For me personally there has been a lot of resistance to sharing, initially cynicism to how that could possibly evoke change ( being so entrenched in negativity), and then scepticism to how I could possibly be so blase enough to be part of the process. But hey, there is alot of support out there, and I have slowly found alot of acceptance too. I'm enjoying the process now, and have lightened up in the process!

Its strange as now I have internalised that even when bored, lonely I always have the privelege of catching up with virtual friends, (as well as lovely Petette friends I see on a regular basis), or seeing one of your thought provoking videos, a reminder that I can have a healthy mindset. I have made lovely friends here and feel so very supported and blessed. Thanks for all your immense energy, and commitment in making all the great changes to so many peoples lives. Loving it ! :) X

cherub79's Gravatar This programme has been a breath on fresh air about how to change your life & eating habits

I would say the times I can think off the top of my head are
When my hubby finally proposed - I had been through a journey already as he would only marry me in vegas - I was scared of flying
so I did a fear of flying course & got on the plane & then he said oh crap I have to propose now
After 10yrs together - he finally asked me
I spent then rest of the evening calling everyone

Then last year when I finally got on a plane valium free - I wanted to call everyone soo much, it was 2am here
I text everyone instead
I never expected to be able to get on a plane without valium or enjoy a holiday without worrying about the flight home

Thats what the programme has done for me

The support from everyone is amazing

I could not have got through the last few weeks without all your amazing support
Having more belief in me than I do most days

Pete you would give my nephew a run for his money in the energy steaks

Cristina's Gravatar 1. Was there any water in that bottle?
2. What are you doing reading blogs on a Saturday night?
3. You always crack me up at some point in the video, thanks for the chuckle at the end :)
4. Where's the pink shirt and suit with clashing tie for the News?
5. Yes, I was very excited today so I'm sharing it! I rehearsed for a fab short film with a fantastic team of people. Had fits of giggles all day, everything struck me as funny for some reason. Can't wait for filming to start! Am fired up and really, really excited, because I loooooove it sooooo much! Feeling like an excited little girl today! :)

babsybabe's Gravatar As always a brilliant vid and a timely reminder....I've dropped the ball a bit too - perhaps getting a bit complacent of late - so will now be reminding myself to congratulate myself and feel good for every good choice and to enjoy the process.

Thanks for a wonderful programme Pete

Ayesha's Gravatar Just watched this at your suggestion Pete and enjoyed it. I love the feeling that comes with eating healthy food and I love the high that comes with exercise. You are right to remind us that we should enjoy what we are doing - that's what distinguishes this programme from others.
