Now I am really angry that people want to be shocked before they believe anything
This will change your life IF you want to change
I wanted to warn other kids the damage eating disorders can do
I more than likely cant have kids, I will lose my teeth within 10yrs
I am lucky, I have heard far worse stories
I still cant believe just how much I have got out of this programme
I am the biggest synic going, I thought I would lose a few lbs
I never expected to deal with my bulimia & panic attacks, I just accepted I panic & binge & starve, thats what I do & have done for 15yrs
Until last june when a friend paid for us to do the course at our local leisure centre
I no longer have to worry about what might happen
We have actually booked a holiday 9 months in advance - going to vegas in september for our 3rd wedding anniversary, I cant wait
We would never have done that this time last year as I would have been paniciking, binging & starving for the next 9months
We booked a holiday days before we went, I would take valium to get there, whole time we were there & coming home
The confidence I have now is amazing, I am running for local councillor, I would never have done that last year as I have had the duck for 25yrs telling me I useless
I can finally say my husband deserves me, I have always wondered why he was with me & told him he could do soo much better
Now I am proud to stand next to him
we went away last sept - 2nd wedding anniversary. For the 1st time in 15yrs I did not take valium & finally felt normal
I want to shout from the roof tops how much better I feel than this time last year
Worrying about weekly weighin, not eating this & that & counting points
Thank you to pete & all the petettes for the amazing support
I still struggle with the duck, he is not going away without a fight - I am up for the fight
I have made some great friends here
My saying now is I am normal
I used to describe myself as short, fat, mad
Shame pete cant help with the short bit but the others are dealth with
I will stop rambling now
Thank you
Thank you
you are a superstar and we will get your story out there and it will help others.
It's great honour to be able to help and support you
Take care
Pete
I think a lot of stress and inability to relax comes from worrying too much about things that are completely out of our control. And perhaps that's where eating problems come into play; we're able to control something.
Thanks for reminding me to let things go that I have no control over. I hope your wonderful member of the month is able to get her story out there. It sounds like she has come down an amazing road of recovery. Your program is definitely more than just a weight loss program. It is life-changing. And I thank you for sharing it with me.

How absolutely amazing your story of resilence and courage has touched me deeply. This is especially knowing you as an absolutely ray of sunshine with so much to offer. It maddens me to think success like yours only really goes recognised when it is sensationalised in emancipated before & after photo shoots. I am so glad you burnt all those horrible and upsetting memories. You have a healthy mindset now and far from mad....btw ....I too have felt that too!!!.......We are not the mad ones!!!! Its the rest of the world that is mad!!!
You have been an inspiration to me Cherry and so very brave. Just stay the way you are.... Strong and lovely; Just exactly someone who needs to be elected as a local councillor - your journey will definately be directly and indirectly valued by others: by you just being YOU. So refreshing to have someone in constituency that actually has compassion and courage to speak out. Just believe in yourself. Pete has been the best teacher for us and now we can pass that on to others...how empowering! Can't wait to see you soon and give you a big hug. Must fit in another spa sometime soon. Much Love SXXXX
Well done on being Member of he Month. Have a fantastic time in Vegas! (when it comes).
Lotsa love BikerB x
Dear Cherub
Thank you so much for your story - it makes my journey appear very simple. I have simplely got to get on and do it.
Cherry - they are your photos - you did what you wanted (maybe needed) to do at the time. I agree with what you say about them trying to shock people - why not focus on the recovery?
The magazine industry ( esp. the weekly ones) reminds me of bitchy girls at the corner of the playground pointing out at others and making them feel bad. That's one of the reasons that I don't buy them, The other reasons are that they don't have any bikes, motorbikes, cool stuff in them - only teeny weeny handbags or massive ones that give you shoulder injuries :-) oh and shoes that would break my ankles...
I was disgusted by the story - but part of me unsurprised. I think it's symptomatic of the society we live in...and very sad.
But we don't need the press to know what a wonderful programme you have here, and we'll continue to tell everyone who'll listen.
Cherry - you are a wonderful inspiration to many many people out there.
Bx
PS. Pete...that really scared me watching you record whilst drive. We need you in one piece please!
you are so right about society wanting to be shocked and entertained by the plight of others.
It is sad but so refreshing to break free from the norm.
Cherry.. You are truly amazing and so is your story.
People that will benefit from it and be inspired by it WILL hear about it.
We are proof of that.
These magazines really don`t keep it real which is why no one believes that you can be slim and healthy without some faddy diet plan.
I love this programme and all you guys.
A BIG HIGH FIVE FOR CHERUB.
