Cristina's Gravatar LOL...you do make me chuckle Pete...loved the video...had to break driving habit today abandoning car stuck at bottom of a steep hill and surrender to walking in the snow/ice what felt like 20 x 1 miles going from client to client from 7am...boy, am I feeling those glutes... :)

Katfrin's Gravatar Nice one Pete, Love the crunchy snow sound effects!
I broke a habit today - Almost fell into it but decided not to get pizza opn my way out of Costco - but to treat myself a visit to one of my favorite japanese Restaurants instead. Sadly I couldn't get a table so had to make so with a salad from Pret instead but hey it's a fair way from pizza and it pushes me out of that groove.

Maureen's Gravatar Hi Pete

Thanks for this and it proves that it really is "all in the mind" and that all it takes is a new way of thinking.

Here's to a whole new way of thinking for 2010!

Nat's Gravatar Thanks just the motivation I needed to break a habit, and think about it before I just do it. why I do it..............take a different path

Mandie's Gravatar I just love the spin that these video put on the tools. It's a great refresher after nearly a year to have the same information presented in a different way. One of my favourite expressions I used to use when addressing habit changes in my WW meetings was to "stop letting the tail wag the dog" - this is what happens when habits control you.

I love the whole treading a new path - it gives the journey a great feeling of adventure don't you think?? Thanks Pete! xx

Earthmother's Gravatar Thanks for the video Pete - it is just what I needed to see!
And all that snow was lovely and white suits you! lol
You always keep finding new ways to help us on our way - you are great.
I liked the metaphor in the snow of the pathways in the brain very clear to what I need to do and I really want to do.
Thanks and 'Happy Christmas'
Hugs

Beth's Gravatar What a beautiful snowy scene you have in that video Pete.

And thanks for using it so effectively to reinforce the message that habits can be broken with persistence.

Blosom's Gravatar Yes I definatly think you have been watching my life and instead of keep walking the new paths, it has been so easy the last couple of weeks to go back to that old comfy path, but I have to start cruching my way back down the new paths,
Thanks again Pete x x x

John's Gravatar Interesting points about habits. The illustration of you walking through the snow was a good example.
