Yesterday at the gym at 6.30 am. Resistance first then cardio. Quite enjoying early morning exercise. I feel invigorated for the day. Lots of messages of support from my work friends and patients. Continued support from my loved ones. Followed Amanda's nutrition plan throughout the day and not missing any foods. Ate at friends last night - baked salmon and stir fried veggies - delicious. Suddenly became very tired and found it difficult to keep my eyes open when driving home. Really wanted caffeine but refrained and slept like a baby. I feel pretty good and really motivated.

Tracey's Gravatar Pete Hi, Thank you very much for your kind words, things are still going really well. I am already starting to see and feel the benefit of my new life style, I have numerous physical and mental health problems which are responding in a positive way to the changes in my diet.I have checked with my GP and he is very happy with what I'm doing. This time my mind seems to be in the right place for me to succeed before I was going round in a vicious circle of negative emotions and comfort eating.

I hope the ladies from inch loss island are still doing well, I'm looking forward to the next blog. I just want to thank them again as they gave me the incentive to start.

karen parker's Gravatar Hi Pete, I'm still doing really well. Met up with Chris my new personal trainer at 7am this morning and worked really hard for just over an hour. Resistance, then cardio and then ended my workout by trying power plates for the first time for a couple of minutes. Very strange sensation. Even my teeth were vibrating.Chris isn't Mark but he is still fantastic. He is extremely motivating and very encouraging. I am really enjoying the endorphins and the buzz I am getting. I do prefer morning excercising but think realistically in the long term will only do mornings at the weekends and evenings during the week.
From a dietary point of few I am continuing to enjoy lots of delicious fresh fruit and vegetables and trying new recipes from Amanda's book. Following your tips of eating slowly and avoiding sugar and stimulants and feeling great. Trying to keep up with petecohen.tv which is very inspirational! Live the dream and good luck to everyone who is following the programme! x
